Any Info on Dr. Joel Sercarz in Los Angeles?

I didn’t see his name on the list of ES doctors on this site.
I’ve been referred to him for ES.

As far as I know, we have not heard of Dr. Sercarz in Los Angeles. Names are added to our Doctors Lists as members have successful surgeries done by them. If you do see Dr. Sercarz, please let us know what you think.

It turns out that Sercarz doesn’t deal with ES. Don’t know
why I was referred to him. There are others at UCLA
that do deal with ES. I’m trying to get referred to one of
them.

I believe there are at least 3 doctors at UCLA who deal w/ ES. The two we’ve heard about most on here are Dr. Chhetri & Dr. Mendelsohn. Dr. Ryan Osborne is also in LA & has his own clinic. He even did a video (somewhat self promoting) of the surgery he did for one of our members. It’s posted on YouTube if you want to see what external surgery looks like. There are also videos of intraoral ES surgeries on YouTube. These are not gory & awful. I watched a few before my surgeries because I wanted to know what I was in for. Some people prefer not to know.

Frustrating, hope you can get an appt with one of the other doctors!

Well, now it turns out that Dr. Sercarz at UCLA does deal
with ES. So I will see him next week. I’ll report what I find.
