I had my manometry test 3 weeks ago and the NIR said it was the highest pressures he’s ever seen.
I have jugular vein compression on both sides. My left internal jugular vein was 25while lying down and went up to the 50’s while sitting up. These are measurements for my non-dominant, hypoplastic, tiny jugular vein. The compression is at C1. Pressures above and below C1 are normal. The dominant and open vein pressures were normal on the right.
The doctor says that my symptoms coalign directly with the pressures
.
My symptoms are extremely severe. Severe head pressure, headaches, dizziness, full and popping ears, light sensitivity, throat tightness, chest tightness, extreme neck pain in occipital area, head/neck pain while laying on a pillow, pain in scalp-back of my head, nausea, inability to stand for over 15 minutes. Also I cannot bend forward or squat down without pain in the back of my neck. Heartbeat pulsing in head, visible carotid pulsating in neck, Needing to lay down Between 18 to 20 hours a day. Unable to work. Symptoms came on suddenly.
I do have cervical instability and I don’t know what symptoms are causing what. (I don’t know the severity of it.)
I do NOT have double vision or Whooshing in my ears.
I’m looking to see if others have had extremely high pressures and are also extremely symptomatic
