@Katflorida - Heart arrhythmias can be caused by the vagus nerve being irritated by an elongated styloid or calcified stylohyoid ligament. It might be best to get a CT w/ contrast (it’s iodine based & water soluble so completely leaves the body) just to make sure there isn’t some carotid or jugular involvement. You’d still want to get the CT of the area between the skull base & hyoid bone w/ the hyoid included in the imaging.
If you need a second surgery, do you plan to go back to the surgeon who did your first operation?

I’m sorry for that. I recall you mentioning this in the past. Who did your styloidectomy initially? If (s)he is on our Doctors List, I’ll remove her/him.
