There is SO much right sided pressure in my eye, it feels like someone is trying to suck it out with a vacuum, does the ct scan say anything about how my eye feels
Just a patient here, but hard to tell because 1) it’s a CT and 2) only one slice. Congrats on figuring out an informative slice though! One doable thing I’d look for is something called “optic nerve tortuosity in vertical or horizontal planes” (See here: Idiopathic intracranial hypertension | Radiology Reference Article | Radiopaedia.org). From the first image, it doesn’t really look like the right optic nerve is conspicuously tortuous (ie coily; ie like a thin hose with too much pressure inside). Also, there’s maybe a small chance you’d see indications of “optic nerve sheath distension”, but an MRI would be better. I don’t have any experience with looking for other indications of intracranial hypertension around the eye, particularly with a CT. There’s also apparently a tool within ChatGPT called “Radiologist’s AI Assistant”. Wouldn’t be able to tell you much more about it though.
Hope you figure it out.
EDIT
Here’s a slice from an old CT. I’ve never had chronic eye pressure, only occasionally when I work too much without break. Around this time, I don’t believe I had any eye pressure.
EDIT2:
No problem. Also, it looks like you’ve included images of your maxillary sinus in the second and third slice…
Thank you !
@Figuringitout we really won’tbe able to assess the IJV/blood flow component until you can get yourself a CT with contrast. you could go to an eye doctor and have them measure your eye pressure though, which would be suggestive of IJV compression
