Just wanted to share that after a 2year wait for a referral to see an ENT, I finally had my appointment and couldn’t be more relieved to find out he also does the styloidectomy surgery (and has experience doing them with previous patients). I’m scheduled for surgery in two weeks. I wanted to share because I know doctors are difficult to find in Canada (especially with experience doing this surgery and willing). His name is Dr. Mckenna (ENT) and he is located in Owen sound Ontario if anyone is searching. He has a long referral wait list but that seems to be the norm now in this country.

WOW!! Thank you so much for this information, @omega! Your wait was worthwhile! Little by little, we’re hearing of doctors who do styloidectomies in CA. It’s very refreshing to have new names to add to our list for your country! I’ll add Dr. McKenna’s name today.
I hope now that you’ve gotten your foot in the door, as it were, that your surgery date is somewhat soon & you don’t have another long wait for that.

That’s great news! A 2 year wait is a crazy long time, but waiting times seem to be increasing in most countries now…I hope it’s not too long til you can have the surgery

I do have a surgery date and it was a lot sooner than I expected! Mar 5.
