I had my CT today. The contrast injection felt really hot in my veins! On Monday, I know what diseases I have. I have googled the doctor I will see and saw that she is an ENT specialist for tumor diseases. I am very worried now: (

That description just means she specializes in oncology(Cancer/tumor) head and neck surgery and knows the area of the head and neck very well, which is the type of surgeon you want if you need surgery in the area of the head and neck even if you don’t have cancer or a tumor. Not everyone who sees those doctors have cancer or a tumor, but those doctors do specialize in that kind of surgery. Try not to jump to any conclusions yet, it will just have you anxious for what may not be there, Wait until you have something real to worry about, otherwise you will drive yourself crazy thinking the worst. It is all overwhelming at times. I agree with everything RB said. Exhale and try not to worry. I hope the surgeon you see knows of ES and can help you. Try to Stay optimistic.
