@Richard123 - Your pictures in the second post didn’t upload before you sent them so there are no pics only the text showing they were trying to upload. With that many pictures it may take awhile for them all to fully upload so please send them again but wait to hit “reply” until all pictures are fully loaded.
Your styloids are immensely long. Please be careful to remove your name & any other personal information from any pictures you post. I covered your name/birthday on the picture of your panoramic x-ray.
I’ve drawn lines that approximately follow the course of your styloids & calcified stylohyoid ligaments on both sides. Your left (right side of picture) is much longer than the right (left side of the picture). Are your symptoms worse on the left than the right? The left styloid/calcified s-h ligament curves in significantly & is calcified to your hyoid bone.
Thanks @Isaiah_40_31 again for labelling the images… you have very tiny gaps so it looks like the stylo-hyoid ligaments have calcified at the end of the styloids, all the calcification would need to be removed for the best chance of being symptoms free!
I don’t have any symptoms on the left side. All my symptoms are on my right side
Interesting with as long as your left styloid is. Often it boils down to the angle of styloid growth & which nerves & vascular tissues are being irritated. I’d speculate that once your left side is resected, you’ll begin to be more aware of symptoms the right side is causing, @Richard123.
