the styloid or any calcification. Is anything visible? I would greatly appreciate your help.
Thank you

They’re not the best images…not 100% sure but it looks like it might be the styloid process visible behind your top teeth, more clear on your left (right side of the image), might be totally wrong though!

Thank you. I added different X-rays. Would you please let me know your thoughts?

I don’t see your styloids in either picture. I’m sorry! Are these the only images you have?

I can’t either, I’m sorry

That could be! It’s pretty shadowy though so hard to tell for sure. At least what you see is in the right location.

I don’t know how ordinary radilogist examine is playing out in the “real world”, but i reccon it is not as easy as one may think. I had to really narrow in brightness and the colour modulation on my free image editor software on my phone to be able to see what was behind the mandible.

So i belive that is part of the styloid process, and behind the mandible edge, there is slightly visable that looks like some calcfication of the ligament, but im not sure.

It is worth the try at least.

And to be honest, i can’t tell if these are x-ray images or CT scans ?

If they are CT scan you can try to upload them in to a 3D rendering program, and it is much easier to see what is going on

Thank you. I tried to use a 3d program but haven’t been able to do so. Do you if there is a program available for iPads?

If you’re going to recreate images to 3D, the files have to be in DICOM-Format, and it is best if it’s a multiseries images like CT images.

Radiant is a software that is very good for recreating in 3D, and i think they offer it on ipad aswell. Just import the DICOM files in to the software, and the software does the job for you.
