It's baaaack

So, removing the left styloid gave me a few years of practically no vertigo. However, it’s back. I’m noticing similar symptoms developing on the right (ear pressure, jaw pain, etc). Really don’t want to do the other side, and I live in KS now as opposed to MN.

Hi all.

I’m sorry that symptoms are back, unfortunately it does seem to be quite common for the other side to play up at some point (actually it’s often quite soon after the first surgery). Here’s a link to the updated doctors list as you’ve moved:
Doctor Lists – no discussion - Symptoms and Treatments / Doctor Information - Living with Eagle
There’s a couple of doctors on the list in your state, you can always use the search function to look up any discussions about them…

Frustrating! @tokenegret! I’m sorry you may be facing another surgery. It’s likely been a few years since you had a CT scan so maybe start with getting an updated CT w/ contrast to see what the current state of your styloids, IJVS & carotids are in your neck as any ES doctor you see will want CT imaging to help with diagnosis.
