I’m alternating between a screwdriver stabbing my left ear and the feeling of a moth (or bee!!) fluttering inside it.
Both are equally uncomfortable.
High hopes for surgery!
I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this. What awful symptoms.
Hopefulness, indeed!
I get the moth too! Good description.
YIKES! That sounds like no fun at all - especially the screwdriver stabbing! Glad you don’t have to wait too much longer for surgery!
The stabbing sensation sounds like possibly glossopharyngeal neuralgia, members on here have described it as like an ice-pick hitting them. Both your symptoms sound awful; another one mentioned on here a few times is a feeling of wet in your ear, I’ve had that a bit myself.
Hoping that they go with surgery
It took 2 days but it’s settled down now.
I’m having to rent a new house, because my landlord is selling.
So, I’m driving all over. It’s touch and go - one of my friends took me to see 4 houses over the weekend, I think I finally found the perfect place.
Moving 3 weeks after surgery should be interesting. Luckily, my friend is obsessed with packing. I mean, she really enjoys it and has already started in my many books.
Signing new lease tonight!
Goodness, moving straight after surgery will be fun! I love packing too- if I was nearer I’d enjoy helping! If I remember right, @Asumhannah moved really soon after surgery too, so it can be done!
So glad your pain has subsided & hope it stays gone or at least dull up to surgery day. Your friend sounds amazing! I’m really glad you have someone like that in your life to help you get through everything. You’ve certainly had some BIG challenges over the last few months. I hope the “storms” will calm for a long time so you can have your surgery, get moved & have recovery time & some self time.
