Hello! I am looking for Dr near the Chicago suburbs or Madison, WI area that has experience treating Eagles. I looked at the Dr list and did not see anyone, but wonder if anyone has had a positive Dr experience in this general area. I have multiple cervical spine issues that are a part of my anatomy, but Eagles is something that "could" be a solution to part of the pain I suffer from. I like the idea of taking the whole Styloid out!! :) Anyone?
Hey Rosie, I posted this same question a couple of weeks ago and it seems there’s no one in the area. I saw Dr. Borrowdale at Loyola and it was a total disaster and waste of time. I’ve decided to travel to Columbus to see Dr. Arick Forrest. From this forum I learned he has a lot of experience with Eagles. I wish you the best!
Thank you JKL. I am constantly shocked that we don't have the care needed for rare conditions here in Chicago. Thank you for your input, having been searching yourself. I did actually write the name of Dr Forrest down the other day after reading a little here about him. I am going to Dayton Ohio to see a Dr in Oct for my wacky jaw... hmmm. May have to think about this more! I am sorry you had that bad appointment, I know how that goes. Ugh!
Good luck with the jaw. If it doesn’t go well I am seeing a wonderful TMJ specialist in Shorewood IL, Dr. Grabavoy. I see Dr. Forrest at the end of the month and will check in after I see him.
Thank you JKL and Nani! I appreciate your information. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Klippel-Feil Syndrome, which complicate the TMJ, which is why I am going to Ohio. My jaw dislocates when I open my mouth. Lovely. :) Thank you for your input and help with the Eagles Dr in Ohio too.
Hello everyone, hope I am doing this right as I JUST signed up on here. I am in the Chicago-land area as well and I am completely baffled and lost trying to find anyone who treats this or at least give me a definitive diagnosis. I went to Dr Borrowdale too and it WAS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!!!! Pease keep me up to date if you find out any info and I will do the same. I am constantly doing research it seems.... Thanks, E

Seems like Dr Borrowdale would get the hint by now. He had no clue what I was talking about...
