I am so sorry you’re having these challenging symptoms. CT reports are often dictated, which leads to some interesting typographical error. It sounds from what you wrote that the radiologist felt the hyoid bone is longer than normal and that the back side of that bone is pushing up against both your left and right external carotid arteries. I am certainly not a physician, but this finding seems to align with many of the symptoms you describe. Hope you find an excellent physician and a correct diagnosis and treatment soon.
