I’m sorry that you’re experiencing this after surgery, it must be very daunting and disappointing… It does take a while for things to settle down and adjust after surgery; other members have found that muscles can still be in a position of guarding if the body’s been inflamed because of ES for a while, and sometimes PT is needed to retrain muscles, this discussion by @Benwt might be helpful:
