I’ve had 2 styloidectomies. The first was in Nov. 2014 & the second for the other side was in Aug. 2015. I thought I might need a revision surgery on the left side because I was having skull base pain, face pain & neck pain all on the left, but I’m getting PT for a sore shoulder, & my PT noticed my SCM & other neck muscles on that side were very tight (you’d think I would have checked for that after how often I read of peoples’ neck pain from that sort of thing on this forum). She massaged the area, & after a couple of sessions all my pain went away. I am extremely relieved to not be facing another round of ES surgery at the moment!

@Isaiah_40_31 yesterday I had a fuzzy head in the night and in the morning a couple of drops of clear liquid came out from my nose. Could this be csf leak?
Hard to say abt the clear fluid. It could have just been nasal mucus. I think people w/ Csf leaks have more than a few drops of fluid leaking from their noses & it is intermittent through the day. Fuzzy brain could be from carotid compression.
