Sorry it was a partial styloidectomy and tonsillectomy on both sides 2 yrs apart.

I had the external approach to removal,
thanks for the singing in the car thing....it was day 5 post op, feeling really good, I was driving and every song that came on was a favorite, so, I was jamming out with the radio.. I did not have much throat pain from the surgery but the extra activity from my jam session ripped a stitch on the left side somewhere up inside my head.
that thing hurt for two more weeks.....
singing in the car is not recommended with post op on either kind of surgery....
Well. I will be getting up early to go in for the surgery I have been waiting too long for. I am praying the surgeon has steady hands and it will be done right the first time. I will let you know how it went as soon as I feel well enough to get on the computer.

I hope everything goes well! They were going to go in externally on me but my surgeon decided last minute hed just remove my tonsil and reach from the inside. No scarring. It worked out well.
