Shame it doesn’t mention compression of the jugular veins by styloids or C1 process, but the statement ‘Failure of venous efferent flow to precisely match arterial afferent flow will yield immediate and dramatic changes in intracranial blood volume and pressure’ sums up the effects many of us have felt!
