Eagle syndrome

How much he charge for surgery of bilateral styloid?

You will need to make the 3D images & share the images on this forum or you can send them to me in a private message if you want to by clicking on my screen name - @Isaiah_40_31. I have to repeat that I am not a doctor & can be wrong about what I see in images as I’m not trained to read them but have only learned by looking at many on this forum over the years. That’s why it’s important for you to discuss with a doctor what we’ve suggested to you & take marked pictures to show your doctor & hear what (s)he has to say. Some doctors are ignorant of the problems of ES & HBS & Clicking Larynx Syndrome because they are rare, but others just don’t think to look for these problems because they are rare so we need to advocate for ourselves & point out what we suspect is wrong to get them thinking about more obscure health problems.

Is there any app for this forum using it in browser edge…also i want to know how much he charge for eagle syndrome surgery that dr u mentioned in Turkey?

This is the app for this forum: Discourse Hub | Discourse - Civilized Discussion

You would need to call Dr. Aghayev’s ofc to find out what he charges for ES surgery or you can send a private message to @Bowser who is one of our members for whom he did surgery. It’s much less than in the US though.

I think Dr Bargiel in Poland and Dr osborne is good doctors…Most probably i don’t need eagle syndrome surgery..hyoid bone is culprit

We can’t say for sure that the styloids aren’t causing any of your issues, but that looking at the images the hyoid could well be the culprit- it’s a suggestion for you to raise with your doctor , or to look for another doctor who could help you, but as we’re not doctors ourselves we can’t say for sure!
Just a note about your hyoid bone fusion, or lack of- apparently only 34% of older adults had full fusion, when you’re born it’s not fused, so it seems to be quite common for it not to be, and you’re young too, so I don’t think that’s an issue at all.
There are a few doctors on our list in India, have you seen it?

Whether they’d be able to help at all I don’t know, nor whether they do hyoid surgery…
I don’t have a subscription to view this article, but it might be helpful, maybe you could do some research into the doctors yourself:

Yes,i met Dr Anuradha Navneetham…she is maxillofacial surgeon…she was unable to help..can you tell me name of doctors and hospital which published that article on Hyoid syndrome?

These are the doctors mentioned as authors of the article for which @Jules gave you the link. You’ll have to look up their names & where they are located & which hospitals they are affiliated with:

I’m able to find Vasim Ismail Patel…he is from Gulbarga Institute of Medical Sciences,Kalaburagi,Karnataka,India…but other doctors in list are from different locations not from same hospital. All doctors are from different hospitals

We always advise members to check with their doctor before taking medications, especially if they’re taking other medications… but some members have found improvements with supplements, like creatine, l-cirtruline, Citicoline, here’s a link to their posts:

Which form of Citicoline is best in my situation…oral form ?And which mg?

U said my greater horn of hyoid bone is elongated…i researched on this…chat gpt said this is possible in eagle syndrome when stylo hyoid ligament ossified it looks like greater horn is near to carotid artery beurification…what are your views on this

I agree that it looks like on your imaging that your hyoid is very close if not touching the carotid artery bifurcation, & if you think about when you move your head, turning, it could well come into contact…
As far as I’m aware, the stylo-hyoid ligament attaches to the lesser horn/ cornu of the hyoid bone, which is a little process above the greater horn. I can’t see this on your hyoid images, so I would say it’s an elongation of the greater horn, & not a calcified ligament…In my non-professional opinion!
I don’t know anything about the citicoline, so can’t answer your question about that I’m afraid; you could ask @Ruslan what he’s taking, or do some research into it…

I agree with what @Jules said. Chat GPT didn’t give you an accurate answer. Your stylohyoid ligaments don’t look ossified, but the greater horns of your hyoid bone, especially the left side, looks quite long & perhaps is pressing on your carotid artery bifurcation.
