Hi I’m have just been diagnosed with ES when I had a neck injury that led me to a CT scan . Does any one else have any symptoms of throat tightness like some one is choking you inside your throat and excessive saliva in the back of your throat? If so how do you deal with it ?
Choking sensations and excessive saliva can be down to ES- the feeling of something stuck in the throat is very common especially. Both can be caused by pressure to different nerves by elongated styloids or calcified ligaments.
Other members have found having smoothies etc. can help.
