I am from Canada and having little to no luck with finding a specialist or surgeon.
I am looking to travel to the US to have this done and pay privately. Looking for recent approx pricing for good and trusted surgeons.
I would rather get it done in Canada and have it covered but it doesn’t look promising without waiting for many years. I am in a lot of pain and need support.
I am looking at dr samji and dr Osborne but I hear dr Osborne is 35k per side which I cannot afford.
Dr. Cognetti in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has done styloidectomies for a number of our Canadian members. The cost to have him do your surgery will be less than most other doctors here. The last I heard it was less than $10,000 US, but it would be worthwhile checking with his office. He will do a video consult so you could meet him & go over your CT scan with him before deciding if you want him to do your surgery.

You’re correct about Dr. Osborne’s fee - $35K USD for one side & $51K USD if you get both done about 2 days apart. Dr. Hackman in NC now charges $46-47K USD to do bilateral styloidectomies for cash paying patients. Dr. Samji, I believe is between $10K-$15K USD per styloidectomy, but you’d have to check with his office.
