I'm very much dreading this, but here goes my plea for help

@sbincamp - If there’s a possibility you have ES you should immediately stop doing chin tucks. They will aggravate ES symptoms. We’ve had a number of members who’ve gone to PT prior to ES diagnosis & been given chin tucks as an exercise, & doing those made them so much worse! Those along w/ high velocity chiropractic neck adjustments MUST be avoided.

I don’t recall if @Jules or I have sent you a link to an excellent discussion thread by @vdm about posture & cervical spine alignment/exercises so here it is:
List of my favourite resources on YouTube to learn anatomy

Cervical lordosis can be restored w/ consistent, gentle neck exercises. A PT who is knowledgeable about ES can help with this, too, but since your PT is suggesting chin tucks, I’m suspicious, (s)he has little or no knowledge of ES.

There are other nerve pain medications that might help you if Gabapentin/Nortriptyline aren’t helping. Sometimes it takes trying different ones to find one that works the best. It can take up to 3-4 weeks of taking a nerve pain medication before it begins to help. Sometimes it’s longer as finding the right dose is also necessary. Another medication that has helped some of our members is a muscle relaxant. There are several different ones of those available, too, so that’s something else you can explore.
