Good article. There is one pathway that is gaining popularity on how long term obstruction of Venous Outflow can contribute to development of serious neurodegenerative diseases and that is Glymphatic system. Here is very interesting article about it (The glymphatic pathway in neurological disorders.)

Interesting to see 3 Eagle’s variants discussed, specifically calling out an IJV variant and ICA variant. It was a little discouraging to read that styloid removal may not resolve all symptoms associated with the IJV variant, i. e., headaches and dizziness. I am still struggling with headaches and oscillopsia, though thankfully dizziness is gone. Thank you for posting the article - you find the best!
