Hello!
I am looking for documentation and any potential case reports about how they handle severe IJV compression in Norway, though I seem unable to find any. I am curious to see if they do C1 shave in my nationality.
My neurologist at St. Olavs has been completely radio silent for the last two months after my CTA was taken at the recommendation of Dr. Kamran Aghayev. St. Olavs neurologist spoke to my general practicioner 6 weeks ago about referring me to either neuro or vascular surgeon after immersing himself in my case…
Nothing has been done yet, and I’m unable to garner a reaction or communication with my neurologist…
Then the question is: Do I wait for this, or do I reschedule surgery with Dr. Aghayev?
I’m afraid that we don’t know of any doctors doing a C1 shave in Norway, the last member I think to have surgery in Norway was @Henrik but he didn’t have VES… So frustrating, but unfortunately as it’s a fairly recent surgical procedure, there aren’t many surgeons who do it that we know of!
Thank you, Jules.
That makes my decision clear, I think.
Family members are also prodding me to make a decision and go to Istanbul to get it sorted now, saying that the right treatment matters more than the money.
@Rehri - What a blessing that you have that kind of support from your family!! I’m glad they’re standing with you & encouraging you to do what you need to regardless of cost rather than judging & dismissing your symptoms as being all in your head. Please tell them thank you from me.
