How wonderful! It’s a process but, you made the right decision. I know it took me awhile to try to feel some kind of normalcy after being in pain for so long…Just keep moving forward everyday. That’s all we can do. I am so happy that you are feeling so much better.
Continue to stay with our group even when you get totally well. This group needs us to encourage others with ES.
Best regards,
Hadassa
@Hadassa - we really appreciate that you pop in here & there to encourage & support our members especially since it’s been so long ago that you had your surgery. It’s also great to hear how well you’re still doing!
Thank You Isaiah_40_31…I don’t even know how I even found this group, to tell you the truth? I suffered so much and for so long and this group helped me get the strength and hope that I would get better. My job is to encourage whomever is still going through this difficult syndrome.
I read their stories and my heart goes out to them because I was in the same situation they are going through, right now. My job is to encourage them to pursue their healings and have some hope. I gave up so many times during my painful journey but, I didn’t let up even though I was ready to jump off the Earth at times.
I still see Dr. Krempl at least once a year but, he did tell me that this was never coming back and that was confirmation to me that I was on the right track. I do thank you and Jules for helping so many of the people that find this group.
Right now I am preparing for Sept.27th because I am having a right hip replacement and I have no idea how long I will be down? Everyone that I have spoken to about hip replacements say it’s the best thing they ever did. No more pain! I’m game…My hip has been keeping me awake at night and I’m tired of it. This is a piece of cake compared to ES.

Will pray that your surgery goes well! I hope that you’re healing issues don’t cause problems again
Thank You Isaiah_40_31,
I am certainly going to speak to my surgeon about the Kitamine and whether he will be doing my surgery anterior or posterior. This is awesome
that you are telling me about what and how they do it. I too feel that my Orthopedic physician is experienced and very conservative when
doing surgeries. He IS a believer and he is an older gentleman. Back in March of 2020, I had a severe ear infection and I found another mature
physician. I literally thought I was going to die from the pain! This was not Swimmer’s Ear!
I went straight from the ER into surgery and because of Covid, Dr. McGee didn’t want to admit me into the hospital so, he sent me home and I
just tried to recover at home. I ended up with a worse infection (yeast formed inside my ear) and once again I went to the ER and straight to the
OR but, this time, I was admitted into the hospital and ended up having to stay in for 4 days…He also gave me a bad haircut too! LOL, he had to
totally reconstruct the inside of my right ear and my hair had been shaved on the right side! That was 2 major surgeries in 7 days. I tease Dr. McGee
all the time about the bad haircut…If I wanted a bad haircut, I could have gone to Supercuts!
In speaking with this Orthopedic doctor, I mentioned Dr. McGee to him and he said he knew him and that they were good friends…You see, Dr. McGee
was one of the physicians who traveled with the Rev. Billy Graham and Ruth Graham on mission trips. Dr. Low, my Orthopedic Surgeon also traveled to
the Congo with Dr. McGee and Billy Graham. I did not know this. So, I feel that my steps have been ordered of Yah in this situation too.
Come Monday, I will call Dr. Low’s office and I will find out about the surgery…again, thank you for bringing these questions that I need
