Has anyone had luck finding a surgeon in Oregon who will do styloidectomy via transcervical approach? The closest doctor I’ve been able to find is Dr. Osborne in LA and it’s tens of thousands of dollars.

Dr. Patel recently did a transcervical styloidectomy for one of our members. I think he prefers to intraoral but will do transcervical if requested.

That is amazing news!!! I would really prefer transcervical and I have an appointment with Dr Patel this month. Is there any way to see who that member was? I’d love to chat with them about how everything went.
@klj - I scoured through the posts where Dr. Patel is mentioned & can’t find the post I’m thinking of. Try starting a new topic that says something like “Need Info About Surgery with Dr. Patel in OR”, or something like that, then explain why you want info in your discussion. Hopefully whoever somewhat recently reported having transcervical surgery w/ him will reply to your post.
