I wanted to thank you both for running this site and for all the knowledge and kindness you have shown me.
I hope the information I have posted on my journey will help other UK members navigate their journey better.
I am now in deep trouble so may not make it back on site soon.
I wanted to thank you both and say good bye for now.
Main new lessons- dont ignore eye symptoms, they are window to brain (Henry Marsh). What is wrong may not be in eye itself but inside brain -eg optic nerve and 6#th cranial nerve. Eye dysfunction may be a signpost to what is wrong in brain.
If have swallow issues then get proper swallow test to show what is happening as you swallow. Physio may help you improve swallow.
UCLH Imaging capabilities are impressive. They include a new leading edge PET scan that found things all other imaging missed. It is very fast and patient friendly. A glimpse in to the future of Imaging.
Remember- they may all be missing something else that is wrong and creating high pressure in brain.
