I’ve been in contact with someone who was trying to upload information for Dr. Nakaji’s new patient application last week & said the website was changing daily as to what info was needed. She was very frustrated. When she called the office to ask about uploading her scans they told her it was too soon (as in that should happen after her consult with him), & after learning she has Medicare insurance & telling her he wasn’t enrolled yet, they left her feeling like the front ofc staff decides whose info should be passed along to him & whose shouldn’t. She was quite distressed. In the end she said maybe the office is still getting sorted out, & it was too soon to try to get in to see him.
Another issue is similar to what Dr Hepworth went through last year with insurance. Because Dr. Nakaji left a group practice that took different medical insurances, he now has to apply as a solo practice doctor so currently is not enrolled w/ most insurance companies & is doing the waiting game to become an approved provider.
