Experienced 8 months of referred pain in and around left ear. Upper left neck and jaw pain too. No throat symptoms. Bilateral elongation of both stlyoid process' 4cm's. Left Styloid resected by about 2cm's. Day 5 today of recovery, trying to seperate surgical pain from pre op pain. Not sure if situation is fixed rt now, but soft tissues and nerves do feel different. Any experience out there on a recovery of surgery similar to mine? What to expect at 5 day mark? 7 day mark? 14 day mark? Thanks...
