Need a surgeon for ijv aneurysm

Anyone recommend jugular vein aneurysm surgeon . Thank you

@bizzaresyndrome

I’m very sorry to learn that you’re still dealing with this after all the other challenging health problems you’ve had. Have you seen a doctor for your jugular vein aneurysm yet? If not, you could have a consult w/ Dr. Osborne who’s in Los Angeles. He’s not a vascular doctor but could refer you to someone more local to you.

•Dr. Ryan Osborne - Los Angeles ENT Doctors ENT Specialists Surgeons Cedars Sinai Medical
Does do online or phone consults.

Another option is Dr. Nakaji in Scottsdale, AZ, who does jugular decompression surgeries & might also be able to help you w/ your jugular aneurysm.

•Dr. Peter Nakaji, https://www.scottsdaleclinic.com
Scottsdale Neurosurgery Specialists - 602-313-7772

I hope that you’re able to find one of the doctors to help you, it sounds like it’ll be a tricky surgery so sending you a hug :hugs: :folded_hands:

I had surgery both side but I have some tos symptoms vascular cannot figure out why but we also learn I have a very crazy jugular anatomy and my vein is dialted and have a lump on it I cannot find surgery who can make sure that is correct so we can watch it vascular said it will not kill me and they usually do nothing but growth is very closer to brachial plexus where lymp node is giant . I seeing Dr costantino for second opinion he order emg and lymphoma mri then go from there may be another venogram he doesn’t know yet I have aneurysm I am making appointment with him again . He suggested to reconstruct the ijv since so big he also didn’t know why is this big he never seen before :frowning:

If you hear this condition please keep me updated. I am searching all over :frowning: I thought I am all good after vascular eagle surgery and brain aneurysm:( now this I born with vascular malformations with one vein and this is only working vein I have left one have stenosis in same under under clavicle :frowning: I keep in touch here it’s very rare case . Hopefully get some answers from Dr Costantino in next few months. Atleast he is willing to go outside box checking cancer for me now too due to lymp node swollen . But study show this lymp soft swelling can happen next to aneurysm also .

@bizzaresyndrome I hope the enlarged lymph node is due to the aneurysm & not cancer. I’m so glad Dr. Costantino is interested in your case & in helping you. The aneurysm is quite large so it’s not surprising Dr. C hasn’t seen anything like it before. It’s good he’s having you get additional testing as that will help him have a better idea of how to approach surgery to help you heal completely.

Is the aneurysm causing pain or other symptoms since it looks like it could be pressing on nerves & muscles?

I’m glad you continue to post your updates here. We want to support you even beyond your ES surgery if you have other things still going on. I will pray for Dr. Costantino to be able to clearly understand your vascular situation & to be able to help you.

:hugs:
