Are statistics available for the percentage of patients with elongated styloids without symptoms?
Not as far as I know because w/o symptoms, most people wouldn’t have the type of scan needed to see the styloids. They do show up in panoramic dental x-rays, but many people never need one of those. In the absence of ES symptoms, I say ignorance is bliss.
