Doctor asked me to write down all my symptoms prior to surgery I thought it might help others so here it is:
Good to have a record for yourself as well, I hope lots of these go after surgery! I’m glad that your doctor is interested in your symptoms, quite often doctors don’t understand how many can be attributed to ES!
Surgery has been moved up to May 15th oh my, the doctor treating me is different from my surgeon
I’m so glad your surgery will be sooner than you expected. That’s so great, @Millymay.
I love your artistic symptoms explanation. Great idea & much more descriptive than just writing a list.
That’s good bews, not long away!
Thank you! My son had surgery in March and we are headed back for the other side May 30th. We are praying he gets relief. He had a popping in his jaw - said it sounded and felt like a bone broke. He then lost hearing in his ear for five minutes and then it came back, but he has tinnitus. His main complaint is the tightness in his neck and shoulders. I am glad you made this visual I can show him- many many of your symptoms he has had or is having. We are hoping this final surgery cures it! His left side has been much better since the surgery in March.
Good to hear from you @Pcrowe! Thank you for the update. Very good news that your son’s first surgery has helped relieve some of his symptoms. Hopefully the second surgery will get rid of the remainder!
Really glad that he’s had good results from his first surgery! It may be though if his neck & shoulders have been tense from pain, & that’s perhaps affected his posture too, it could take a while & need physio to get some of it sorted out… his second surgery goes well
